About Nikki Whitsett

Just A Friend

Chris, Chris, Chris.

Chris has become my best friend. He’s someone I can actually hang out with and do nothing with and not worry about asking too much of ever.

I can literally talk to him about everything.

There has ALWAYS been a part of me that wanted more with Chris. I’m not going to play stupid here for your sake and say he’d never be interested or I “just value his time!” That’s all bullshit. I want to jump his bones like NOBODY’S business.

And I’m not an idiot. He wants me too.

But you have to weigh the risk verses the reward.

And it’s not stupid or oblivious to weigh the potential consequences of starting a romantic relationship or even a fuck buddy non-relationship with someone and deciding not to take the risk.

Yes, I’m an overthinker.

But you’re in my fucking head. My head, my rules. Deal with it.

Chris is one of those guys you get to know and then sometimes have to remind yourself that he actually has a dick. Don’t worry, there’s definitely one under sensitive crying sessions and shopping compliments… I have to admit, I spent my whole life making assumptions about guys and their priorities. Then, a guy like Chris comes along and slashes all of them in half. They’re still half in tact, because I’ve just been broken too many times.

I mean, this guy … He shows me more consideration than I show myself! Ugh. NO girl should be proud of a fact like that. I’m certainly not.

I’ve seen him date. A lot of girls get turned off by his sweet and sensitive side. He becomes their “best friend” a lot. Present company included. He’s just so damn sensitive.

Girls want to be knocked around a little.

It’s fucked up, I know, but it’s true.

Maybe it’s some instinct still with us from thousands of years ago for evolutionary reasons. A girl had to align herself with the biggest cave man who was going to show no mercy to his enemies, right? We need the guy that will take what he wants and never apologize for it.
